What advice do you have for new skiers? Learning to ski as adult kinda sucks but here is what I’ve learned from one new skier to another.

#1 Skiing is Easier than Snowboarding & your butt isn’t cold all day from sitting & strapping in. But… snowboarding is more fun in the powder.
#2 Snowboarding outfits are better than Ski outfits. That long coat is awesome.
#3 Don’t be afraid to go fast. (You are not going as fast as you think you are anyway)
#4 Don’t cheap out on Ski Boots, seriously get the nice boots. You’ll thank me later.
#5 The bunny hill is your friend. Your best friend. Don’t be ashamed that the little kids are better than you.

Just try it. You might hate it, your body will hurt, but at least you tried something new. For me it kinda became addicting, I’d have skiing dreams & now go 2-3x a week. 😂😂😂

If you have a gluten allergy, the food at Universal will not disappoint. They are soooo accommodating, a chef comes and talks to you before making your meal, they give you lots of options! My favorite is the Pancakes for breakfast in Three Broomsticks, and the Risotto in Mythos.

Epic Universe preview center, I loved it! The model of the new theme park was incredible. I have loved amusement parks since a kid, and would play Roller Coaster Tycoon for hours! I have loved watching this new park be built & seeing the model and the preview center is soooo exciting! What ride or land are you most excited for?
